Which documents do I need for a loan application?

Documents generally required

For a swift review, the following is sufficient in most cases:

• Identity card or passport

• Current payslips (usually the last 2–3 months)

• Bank details for the payout

• Information on existing instalments/obligations

The more complete the documents, the faster the decision.

Employees

Additionally helpful: employment contract if you have only been with the employer a short time, proof of bonuses if relevant. Stable income improves the outlook for terms.

Self-employed & freelancers

Income evidence is often more extensive here: BWA, tax assessments, bank statements. Allow a little more time to gather everything – we will tell you exactly what is needed in your case.

Pensioners

The pension notice and any other regular income are central. A personal loan can also be possible in retirement – what matters is affordability and the overall situation.
